One of Brooklyn’s finest producers.
MeLo-X tracks are hella vibey, genre bending and always infused with an element of dancehall paying homage to his Jamaican roots. Some of his more experimental tracks are undeniably grimey. A Murlo and MeLo-X B2B would be live.
In 2014 MeLo-X released an EP called Yoncé-X which Beyonce heard and as a result he went on her 2014 On the Run Tour with Jay-Z. He also contributed significantly to Lemonade. He co-wrote and co-produced “Sorry” and “Hold Up” arguably two of my favourite tracks off the album. He is now on her Formation Tour. Go on G. Maybe B will start making some grimier tracks with MeLo about.
MeLo-X – Wasteyout is one of his latest tracks. Listen here.
Here is the amazing Curate EP that really shows off MeLo’s creativity. The EP has some sick features from Lil Simz, Kilo Kish and Raury.
